Harvey Mudd College is a residential campus where students learn and collaborate together inside and outside of the classroom. The Office of Housing and Residential Life provides programs and services that support the academic mission of the College and the Standards of Conduct within the HMC Honor Code. Residential Life strives to foster a diverse and collaborative residential environment where community members share in intellectual exchange, broaden their personal understanding of themselves, and contribute responsibly to the development of their community.

The Residence Halls will be closing on December 14, 2024 at 8:00 a.m. All students must be moved out by this date and time.

Staff will be entering all rooms to verify following:

• Unplug everything, turn off HVAC, and defrost refrigerators
• Lock all doors, windows / close blinds
• Discard all perishables and take out trash
• Bring bikes into your room
• Pets cannot stay and must be taken
• Remove all personal items from common/public areas (residence hall lounges, courtyard, etc) because cleaning will occur and items will be discarded

Spring 2025 Move-in Information

The residence halls will be open on Sunday, January 19, 2025 starting at 8am.

Students may request an early arrival by completing this Spring Semester Early Arrival request form by January 14. Students may not arrive earlier than Friday, January 17, 2025, unless they are participating in a college-sponsored group/event. There will be a daily rate of $31.
